26" Sandy Claus Granny Doll is artist's version of Mrs. Santa Claus! *Designed to sit without being propped, Sandy Claus' body is made with a nubby loosely woven cotton fabric which lends itself nicely to Sandy's needle sculpted embroidered and painted Granny face. Josephine's Family trademark seashell sewn onto cheek. Sandy Claus is holding a tray of (non-edible) handmade Gingerbread Man cookies. Hand sewn curly white wool hair is covered with a cap matching Sandy's Gingerbread Man motif dress. Pantaloons, red stockings, "Noel" Christmas apron, and green Christmas shoes all complete this wonderful Christmas Doll. Shown below is Sandy Claus dressed in a dark Green Velvet Coat with a Red Tam-O-Shanter Cap (all included with doll)! Sandy is wearing glasses (not shown).
*Sandy Claus is constructed using "Danny's" pattern. "Soft Dolls and Animals " magazine commissioned me to create a signature doll for them. "Danny" is that doll and appears on the cover in Jan., 2005. (click on "Artist's Profile" page for more information).
